I’m based in Nairobi, Kenya, but also travel on a regular basis to other countries in East- and Southern Africa to produce written articles, radio reports and other types of media and communications productions about all kinds of topics, from human rights to entrepreneurship and from conflicts to climate change.

My name is Jeroen van Loon and I’m a passionate freelance photographer and videographer from the Netherlands. I’m based in Nairobi, Kenya, but also travel on a regular basis to other countries in Africa for photography and videography assignments.
